These can be carried out on all house types but is aimed at pre 1880 properties which require additional inspection time due to their age and condition.

The report will provide detailed information about the structure and photographs will be included.

The Building Survey will Report on:

Building defects and what they could mean
A clear summary of maintenance issues and essential repairs
Recommendations for further investigations on the property
Results of tests for damp
Woodworm, dry rot and other damage to timbers
Energy Advice
Advice on Security
Photographs
A current valuation of the property
Any issues that may affect the property’s value
Discussion post survey as to factors of concern

The surveyor will also speak to you to discuss the results of the survey.
